I will be doing a live blog here with updates from all 10 of the sites across the U.S. and Canada.

The number in ( ) is the number of spots available for the site.

  • What a story in Springfield, Dylan Meyer who paused his pro career this year and bought (leased from the city) a course he grew up on in his hometown. He is currently in qualifying position (4)
  • It won't end like this, as there are many holes to go, but if the round ended right now in Springfield there would an 11-for 1 playoff for the final spot. (4)
  • Andre Chi making a run in New Jersey, although he will need a few more coming in. He is currently -3 but two back of a Q spot with just 5 holes to play.
  • James Nicholas leads with 7 holes to play in New Jersey (4). The KFT member grew up directly across the street (the families still live there) in the same neighborhood as Josh Goldenberg, who "monday Q'd" for the Canadian Open yesterday. The pair played on the same High School team, and remain best friends.
  • Trace Crowe won yesterday on the KFT. What did he do to celebrate? Drove to Duke and is playing the qualifier there. He is currently in a five way tie for 5th. (7). Have a week.
  • Marc Leishman has birdied 2 of the first three in the second round and is currently in a five way tie for 3rd (4)
  • The UPS Driver Nick Barrett has been DQ'd, heard it was for signing a wrong scorecard, but working on confirming.
  • The teenagers are playing well. Blades Brown currently 1 back at the Florida site (4). While at the Duke site 16-year-old Miles Russell is one of the five players tied for the lead. (7). The scores in Duke are so close, there are currently 20 players within 2 of the lead. Another teenager, High School Junior Mason Howell currently leads by 2 in Georgia. (5).
  • Harry Higgs brother Alex is currently in qualifying position in New Jersey (4).
  • Tee-K Kelly is currently tied for the lead in Springfield (4). Kelly had ACL surgery and just returned to playing late last year.
  • Canada holds true so far to a bunch of Tour guys in the qualifying position
  • Max Homa bogeyed his last two of the first round (Monday Q Jinx) but is -1 thru 6 on his second and T4. Also tied for fourth is Justin Lower, and Jimmy Hard K, who had a hole-in-one in his first round. (7)
  • Brendan Steele is playing well in Maryland and just one off the lead. He is currently the only LIV member in a qualifying position, although along way to go and a number of LIV members in contention (4)
