David Howard a 27-year-old mechanic who has cystic fibrosis has battled countless health issues related to that, has spent countless days in hospitals in his life and is playing in his first Major is one of the cut line with 5 to play. If it’s not at least a small part of the rest of the broadcast we have lost the plot
An update from Army veteran Marcus Plunkett on what he will do this afternoon to see if he makes the cut. It’s very likely he will, but as a player in his position you don’t want to get ahead of yourself. https://t.co/7wnqFcSNze

It would be very appropriate for a former Cuda Champ to win the Open this week.
In my opinion that drive from Bryson on nine is why Bryson is good for the game. That doesn’t mean I’m a fan, I’m not. But I appreciate what he brings to the game. He creates emotion. That’s what makes sports great. Even other players enjoy it at times. Scottie, Hatton and Bryson were all laughing after the drive about the line he took. Same thing happened at bay hill years ago when he hit it over the water. We were all tuned in. And lastly, at his best, he’s one of the best players in the world. More than any sport golf needs more characters imo. Bryson is that. Part showman, part pro, and a lot of villain. All of which makes people tune in.
