The Epson Tour, the feeder tour for the LPGA announced it's schedule for the 2024 season. The schedule will include 20 events and a record total of $5 million in prize money.
The schedule will include an event played at TPC Scottsdale with a purse of $400,000, the biggest in the Tour's history. Although there is still a ways to go ( for example, the Tour still has a $450 entry fee for each event) the improvements the Tour has made over the last 10 years or so is astounding. In 2013 the total purses for the year were $1.6 Million with an average of $108,000 per event. This year the $5 million purse total will have an average of $250,000.
