Golf Qualifying Fees: What the Entry Cost Covers

How professional golf qualifying fees vary, which extra costs players should expect, and why the official entry page is the only reliable price source.

Reviewed for the 2026 season

Fees change by event and player status

Entry prices are not fixed across professional golf. A player’s membership or status category may affect the amount, and pre-qualifying can be priced separately from the final qualifier.

For accuracy, Monday Q does not publish a universal fee as if it applies everywhere. The current official entry form should show the charge, deadline, refund terms, and any card-processing details.

Budget beyond the entry fee

The entry fee is only one part of a qualifier week.

  • Travel, lodging, rental car or local transportation.
  • Practice rounds, range access, yardage books, and caddie costs where applicable.
  • A second stay and changed travel when a player advances or enters a playoff.
  • The cost of reaching the tournament site after qualifying.
