The Monday Q grind starts again today at the Sanderson Farms Monday played at Deerfield GC in Canton, Mississippi. It is the first of five Monday Q’s played over the next six weeks.
The events played in the Fall produce excellent Monday Q fields. Any players with Korn Ferry Tour status from this season are exempt directly into PGA Tour Monday Q’s. Since the Korn Ferry season ended last week for anyone below 75th in points, many players play these Monday Q’s before Q-school.

Cole Hammer- Hammer struggled mightily on KFT this season, making just four of 16 cuts. The former University of Texas star looks to turn the year around via the Monday.
Chris Naegel- Naegel turned a late-season Monday Q on the KFT into a great run through the KFT finals. Although his season ended one event short of the Tour Championship, he looks to see if he can duplicate his Monday success on the PGA Tour.
Tain (MF’ing) Lee- It was a challenging year for the long-time (and one of the best dudes out there) on the KFT, but he jump-started his career with a Tour Monday in 2021. He will try to do it again.
Joe Weiler played solidly late in the KFT season and narrowly missed sneaking into the KFT Tour Championship, finishing 83rd in points.
Austen Truslow- The one-handed chipper has already found some Monday success this year and hopes to find more today.
Tag Ridings- The 2x KFT winner can still bomb it at age 49. He narrowly missed qualifying in a few Monday Q’s this year, so don’t be surprised to see him sneak into the field here.
Nicolas Thompson- Fresh off caddying for Lexi in the Solheim, Thompson, a former PGA Tour member and KFT winner, looks to get into the Sanderson.
Zach Bauchou- Bauchou turned just 8 KFT starts this season into conditional status for next season, finishing 82nd in points. He made seven cuts and finished in the top-10 twice.
Tommy Kuhl- The former University of Illinois standout started his pro career on PGA Tour Canada this year. He became known to many people after he disqualified himself at U.S. Open local qualifying this year after setting a course record. The full story is here. https://www.mondayq.com/posts/kuhl
Chris Erwin- Erwin, a father of three and an Army veteran, continues to chase his dream of playing professional golf. He is one of my favorite people in golf, and his family is just amazing. His story was the first ever feature article I have done in my short writing career. Read it here. https://firepitcollective.com/chris-erwins-long-and-winding-road/
Brett White- White, who ended up in the ICU a few years ago with a brain infection, had to learn to walk and talk again. He had conditional KFT status this year but couldn’t take advantage of the few starts he got. The Monday Q gives him a chance for a PGA Tour start before Q-school.
